NEXT Biomed is a privately owned company established in 2006. NEXT Biomed develops novel diagnostic solutions based on multifunctional recombinant polypeptides.
NEXT Biomed’s proprietary technology enables ultrasensitive and quantitative detection of proteins of diagnostic interest, including highly variable viral proteins, such as the HIV p24 antigen.
NEXT Biomed is developing diagnostic tests, including point-of-care rapid tests to be marketed under its own brand, and interested in strategic partnerships with diagnostic companies that are already strong in their areas of operation.
Diagnostic tests developed by NEXT Biomed utilize biotechnologically improved avidins, which are also marketed for other diagnostic and research purposes under the brand name NextavidinTM.
